Spellforce 3 is a perfect fusion of real-time strategy and role-playing games. In 518, the ruler successfully suppressed the rebellion of the renegade mages and won the victory of the "Battle of the Mage". However, this war caused huge damage to the Io continent: chaos occurred everywhere, refugees were displaced, and a mysterious plague called "Blood Blood" spread rapidly, claiming countless lives.

In this desperate moment, even if there is a glimmer of hope, people will seize it. Ronda Laken, a very appealing figure, led the Light and Purity Sect to appear in people's field of vision. The plot of this game takes place before the plot of the acclaimed "Magic Force: Dawn of Order".
